NJROTC
Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps
The Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) program's mission is stated in the National Defense Act of 1916 (with the Navy starting in 1966): The purpose of NJROTC is "to instill in Cadets the value of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment." To this end, your instructors and cadet cadre will engage with you and challenge you to go beyond your limits to discover a better individual that is more confident and capable of overcoming obstacles in their life.
